Save a link

Copy a supported public link to a video or photo post, then open PocketTok and use the paste control or + button. You can also open the iOS Share sheet and choose PocketTok or Save to PocketTok, tap Done, and open PocketTok to save the queued link. Preview the item and tap Save. To add a video or audio file already on your device, open the save sheet with + (or Type a link) and choose Photos or Files; adding a file does not use a free save. Only save content you own or have permission to save.

On Mac, copy a supported link and click PocketTok in the menu bar to save it. If macOS asks, allow pasting or paste the link manually. You can also use the + button in the library, and File › Add File… adds a video or audio file from your Mac.

If a link fails, confirm it is public and still available. Private, removed, blocked, and unsupported links cannot be saved. Some sources temporarily refuse requests. Failed saves do not count against your limit.

Find saved items

Open Library to browse, search, filter, or sort saved items. Use Collections to organize them. Share sends the saved video or photos; More › Copy Link copies the post’s link (a file added from your device has none). Deleting an item removes it from PocketTok.

On Mac, double-click an item to open it. Up and down arrows move between items; left and right arrows move through a photo carousel. Show in Finder opens a copy in Downloads or your chosen folder. Deleting an item in PocketTok leaves that copy.

Pro, billing, and restoration

Without Pro, new saves are limited, and PocketTok shows your current limit. Pro adds unlimited new saves and extra playback options. Your library, collections, and playback remain available without Pro.

Use Settings → Restore Purchases with the Apple account used to buy Pro. You can also restore from the paywall. Manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple account’s subscription settings. Deleting PocketTok does not cancel a subscription. For refund requests, visit Apple’s Report a Problem.

Playback and subtitles

On iPhone and iPad, Pro includes Auto Replay, Play Next, Start PiP Automatically, and Background Audio in PocketTok Settings, and Speed, Loop, and Play Next in the player’s More menu. On Mac, Pro includes Auto Replay, Play Next, the player’s speed menu, and audio-only saves; Picture in Picture is available through the native video player.

Subtitle creation with Pro runs on-device and requires a supported device with iOS 26 or macOS 26 or later. The system may need to download a language model first. Subtitles provided by a source remain viewable without Pro.
