Your library stays on this device

Saved videos, photos, audio, captions, subtitles, source links and collections are stored on your device. There is no account, no upload and no advertising. Device backups may include app data, as your Apple backup settings allow.

Deleting an item removes it from PocketTok. Deleting the app removes its library; it does not cancel a subscription or erase records held by the services below.

Analytics and crash reports

PocketTok uses Google’s Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics to see how the app is used and why it crashes. They receive app events, purchases, an approximate location from network information, device and app details and crash reports, under a random identifier for this installation, and never your links, captions or saved files. PocketTok does not use the advertising identifier and does not track you across other companies’ apps or websites. See Google’s privacy information.

Purchases

Apple processes payments. RevenueCat manages Pro for us and receives the purchase record from Apple, a random installation identifier, your device’s vendor identifier and basic device, app and store details. Neither PocketTok nor RevenueCat receives your name or payment details. See RevenueCat’s privacy policy.

Support, retention and your rights

If you email support from the app, the message starts with your device model, iOS and app version, language, Pro status and purchase identifier; delete anything you don’t want to send. Please don’t include passwords or payment details.

We process this data to provide the saves and purchases you ask for and, as our legitimate interest, to keep the app working and fix crashes. Google and RevenueCat receive it only to provide their services to us, process it in the United States under data-protection terms with us, and must protect it at least as well as this policy says. We do not sell or share personal information or use it for targeted advertising.

Analytics, crash, purchase and support records may stay with those providers after you delete the app, for as long as their policies and the law require, and are deleted afterwards.

Depending on where you live, you may ask to access, correct or delete records about you, restrict or object to their processing, or complain to a data protection authority. Email [email protected]; because there is no account, we may need details to find the record, and we cannot reach your on-device library.

PocketTok is not directed to children under 14, or the higher minimum age where you live. We update this policy when the app changes; the date on this page is the current version.
