Add Automation

This setup ensures the wallpaper changes silently in the background at a specific time each day.

Start a New Automation

  1. Go to the Automation tab (bottom center).
  2. Tap the + (plus) icon in the top right.
  3. Select Time of Day.

Configure the Trigger

  1. Time: Set your preferred update time (e.g., 01:00).
  2. Repeat: Ensure Daily is selected.
  3. Options: Select Run Immediately (Critical: This prevents the phone from asking for permission every day).
  4. Tap Next.

Build the Actions

  1. Tap the block that says New Blank Automation.
  2. Action 1: Get Image
    • Tap “Add Action” (or the search bar).
    • Search for Daily and select Get Year Calendar Image.
  3. Action 2: Set Wallpaper
    • Search for Set Wallpaper and select it.
    • It should automatically connect to the previous action (reading: Set Lock Screen and Home Screen to Image).

Refine the Settings (Important)

  1. Tap the arrow (>) on the “Set Wallpaper” action to expand options.
  2. Show Preview: Turn OFF.
  3. Crop to Subject: Turn OFF (This prevents the calendar from zooming in weirdly).
  4. Optional: Tap the blue text “Lock Screen and Home Screen” to choose if you want it on just one or both.

Finish

  1. Tap Done.
