Set Up DailyWidget

Add Dailywidgets to your home screen or lock screen to always see your year progress without opening the app.

What You’ll Need

• iPhone running iOS 14 or later (iOS 16+ for lock screen widgets)
• Dailyapp installed

Adding Home Screen Widget

Step 1: Enter Edit Mode

1. Long press on an empty area of your home screen
2. Tap the + button in the top left corner

Step 2: Find DailyWidget

1. Search for “Daily” in the widget gallery
2. Or scroll down to find it in the list

Step 3: Choose Widget Size

Dailyoffers multiple widget sizes:

• Small: Compact calendar view
• Medium: Calendar with more detail
• Large: Full calendar display

Select your preferred size and tap Add Widget.

Step 4: Position the Widget

1. Drag the widget to your desired location
2. Tap Done when finished

Adding Lock Screen Widget (iOS 16+)

Step 1: Customize Lock Screen

1. Long press on your lock screen
2. Tap Customize
3. Select Lock Screen

Step 2: Add Widget

1. Tap on the widget area below the time
2. Find and select Daily
3. Choose from available widget styles

Step 3: Save Changes

Tap Done to save your lock screen configuration.

Widget Tips

• Widgets update automatically throughout the day
• Tap any widget to open Dailydirectly
• You can add multiple widgets in different sizes
• Lock screen widgets are smaller but always visible

Troubleshooting

Widget not showing data?

• Make sure Dailyhas Background App Refresh enabled
• Try removing and re-adding the widget
• Restart your iPhone if issues persist
