How to Connect Your Reminders

Display your iCloud, Exchange, and CalDAV reminder lists in Daily.

2 minutes

Daily shows tasks from any reminder list your iPhone Reminders app can read. Once an account is added to your iPhone and Daily has permission, your lists appear automatically.

Supported Reminders

Not supported: Todoist, Things 3, Any.do, TickTick, and Google Tasks. These apps do not expose their data through iOS, so Daily cannot read them. Use iCloud Reminders instead if you want them in Daily.

Step 1: Add the Account to Your iPhone

Skip this step if your reminders already appear in the Apple Reminders app.

  1. Open SettingsAppsRemindersReminder Accounts.
  2. Tap Add Account and choose your provider. For custom servers, choose OtherAdd CalDAV Account.
  3. Enter your credentials and keep the Reminders toggle on.
  4. Open the Apple Reminders app and confirm your lists show up.

Step 2: Grant Daily Access

  1. Open Daily and go to SettingsReminders.
  2. Tap Allow Access and choose Full Access when iOS prompts.
  3. Select which reminder lists you want Daily to display.

Notes

Troubleshooting

My reminder list doesn’t appear in Daily
  1. Open SettingsAppsRemindersReminder Accounts and make sure the account’s Reminders toggle is on.
  2. Open the Apple Reminders app and confirm your list is visible there. If it is not, the problem is with the account, not Daily.
  3. Force quit Daily and reopen it.
I use Todoist, Things, Any.do, or Google Tasks

These apps aren’t supported because they don’t expose their data through the iOS Reminders framework. The easiest workaround is to use iCloud Reminders as your primary list, or export/import tasks manually.
